Unicorn Quest is a typing tutor game for DOS. It also works under Windows 95 or WindowsNT (just go to the DOS Prompt). Unicorn Quest was originally written for an eight-year-oldone-handed girl who wanted to learn to type. Unicorn Quest makes learning to type into agame. While on a quest for a missing unicorn, the player practices typing letters, typingwords, and finally typing sentences. The player can choose any of three levels ofdifficulty. At the end of each exercise, there is a different ASCII animal picture as areward.
Unicorn Quest is shareware, and can be used with right hand only, left hand only, orboth hands. On special request, the typing tutor can also be easily customized for anymissing fingers. If you are interested in a special version, writeto me and explain your needs.
When Unicorn Quest has been downloaded to your machine: Right-click the file (called uquest31.zip or unicorn.zip) and select WinZip > Extract to folder > C:\uquest31 (or whatever name ends with uquest31).

Cyber Quests are a series of fun but challenging on-line competitions allowing participants to demonstrate their knowledge in a variety of information security realms. Each quest features an artifact for analysis, along with a series of quiz questions. Some quests focus on a potentially vulnerable sample web server as the artifact, challenging participants to identify its flaws using vulnerability analysis skills. Other quests are focused around forensic analysis, packet capture analysis, and more. The quests have varying levels of difficulty and complexity, with some quests geared toward beginners, while others include more intermediate and ultimately advanced material.
Participants will be provided with a network packet capture file and other forensic artifacts that they must analyze to identify devices, network activity, and attacks. Participants will have to answer questions about devices connected to the network, as well as SCADA technology and protocols. The quiz is designed for an intermediate skill level, and questions can be answered using the Wireshark packet analysis tool, and additional reference information to be provided.

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) offers services and supports for individuals with intellectual disabilities and children with developmental disabilities. DDS offers residential supports, services for families, respite care, and transportation services. DDS provides some of these services directly, and others are available from providers in the community.
If the child is not eligible for services, the parent/legal guardian can appeal the decision. First, within 30 days, the parent/guardian must send a letter to the Regional Director of their regional office to ask for an appeal. Next, the parent/guardian will have an informal meeting with the Regional Director or another DDS staff member to discuss the eligibility issues, and the parent/guardian can ask DDS to reconsider their decision. If the issues cannot be resolved during this meeting, then the parent/legal guardian can request a fair hearing.
